Varsity Painters was founded in 1995 by Minneapolis painters and friends Joe Perry and Steve Melander. Since then, we’ve grown into a respected independent painting company serving Minneapolis and the surrounding Twin Cities metro area.
At Varsity Painters, we don’t believe in gimmicks or quick fixes. Instead, we focus on providing quality work and straightforward service on every project. We work closely with our customers to determine the precise needs of each project, from color selection and number of coats to the type of paint being used.

When you work with Varsity Painters, you work directly with our experienced owners and managers. One of our owners or managers will personally conduct your free evaluation, bringing valuable industry experience and expertise to your project.
During your evaluation, they’ll work with you to determine exactly what your project requires. Their assessment becomes the foundation for planning and quoting the work, and an owner or manager will remain involved throughout the project.
